Beyond the Soul’s Meridian December 9, 2024
This time of year is the Season of Light dedicated to the anticipated arrival of the Holy Father who goes by many names. From the Tropical astrological perspective, this relationship is represented by the sign of Sagittarius which begins on November 22 and concludes when the Sun enters Capricorn on the December 21st Solstice. This year the winter Solstice occurs on December 21 at approximately 3:27 am CST. The build-up to this event is permeated by the healing energies of the thrice great centaur Chiron (represented by the sign of Sagittarius) and Asclepius Trismegistus through the constellation of Ophiuchus.
In this section of the Zodiac exists the most powerful healing energies for spiritual transfiguration and ascension. The energies are so commanding that they can transfigure the adversarial Scorpion into a noble Eagle. This transfiguration is a living symbol of our current ascension, representing an entity seeking truth and freedom imbued with the power and wisdom of the Great Spirit in the Sky. Astrologically, we see this as Father Zeus-Jupiter, which is creative, expansive, exuberant, and healing love. This is the love of the Father for all creation. This love is not conditional because it is not based upon merit in the adversarial world of the Scorpion.
From our earthly perspective, this is the type of unconditional love described in the parable of the Prodigal Son. From a higher perspective, unconditional love is an inadequate description because when we ascend, we become one with this heavenly power and will discover that it has no limit. It is an outpouring of infinite love, wisdom, and spiritual authority that we are one with, because we are all children of this cosmic source. May it be known that in all instances we can only ascend through the grace of the Holy Father, His Son, and the Sons of the Son. In all instances, these are solar energies that exist through an etheric network that connects all living entities instantaneously to the Galactic Center and beyond.
Although these terms my sound religious, they transcend religion. If anything, these relationships are the fabric of our masculine power, which is the essence of our pure Ego and the Logoic mind. In the realm of higher consciousness, masculine power exists in balance to the feminine energies of our Holy Mother, which they are dedicated to serve. The esoteric meaning of our mythologies conveys to us the importance of this familiar relationship. From Zeus came Apollo, and from Apollo came his son Asclepius. In the new timeline of Aquarius these relationships take on greater meaning as we become more spiritually aware.
Indeed, just as Zeus’s most beloved Ganymedes was taken into heaven by His Divine Eagle, the new Aquarian time is dedicated to the transfiguration and ascension of the human being through grace (see Beyond the Soul’s Meridian, The Journey to Olympus, December 21, 2021). From a cosmic perspective, we all came voluntarily from someplace other than the artificial construct of the lower third density earth. Therefore, all souls born into this world, regardless of their capabilities, are students in the school of earthly life. It is the ascension of the soul beyond the confinements of the Shadow’s constructs that constitutes graduation through esoteric stages of learning.
It appears that we are close to some type of experience that represents a collective form of advancement.
Our transit through the final stage of this year highlights commencement energies converging at the Winter Solstice, Christmas, and the New Year. We are keenly aware that graduation from school is not an end, but the beginning of something new. This is the reason why the term commencement is used as we are poised to begin a new life. We will not and have never been alone in this endeavor. Like a loving parent, the Pleroma has situating itself to bestow upon us the tools that we need to be successful in our individuated endeavors in the new Aquarian timeline.
As I see it, we will only be able surmount the challenges of this coming year and beyond if we are willing to carry the cross that is being offered to us. Not only must we carry this cross but embrace it joyfully, for it is the essence of change. It is the cross in this Season of Light that is being gifted to us. One that constitutes a yolk which is sweet and a burden that is light. It is this cross that will enlighten the heart.
The Astrology of The Winter Solstice 2024
The astrology of the winter season is rife with oppositions, which should be viewed as catalysts for profound change. They will only be detrimental to those who cling to the energies of the passing timeline of imprisonment, fear, doubt, and control. The key to thriving in the Aquarian timeline is to accept the change that is being foisted upon us, find its natural resonance, let go of the past (which is determining counterfeit impressions of the future), and pass into the new energies guided by your heart’s wisdom. For the graduate, there is nothing in the old material matrix that can hold you back.
The message that the astrology conveys is quite simple, for there appears a Grand Cross formed by the opposition of Mercury in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Gemini squared to Moon in Virgo opposite Saturn in Pisces. These oppositions form a mutable cross which is adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable with the challenges of the transition of this year’s end and beyond.
Although crosses can be arduous, this one is not and should be viewed exuberantly if one is intending to embrace the Aquarian spirit that is now before us. The Mercury-Jupiter opposition are in mutual reception, meaning that they oppose the sign that each one rules. This ensures maximum spirit of cooperation as both are optimally aligned in similar purpose. Mercury in Sagittarius is the expansive expression of ideas, while Jupiter in Gemini drives the discovery of wisdom through various new perspectives. We will do this through expanding social networks, building friendships, and increasing our connectedness.
In both alignments there can be a tendency to overlook details by over-inflated optimism if not hubris which would be a concern if this opposition was not counterbalanced by the Moon-Saturn opposition that is squared to it. If anything, the Moon-Saturn opposition will create form and discipline these energies for the highest good. Moon in Virgo represents loyalty and the capacity for grounded analytical assessment. This alignment squared to the Mercury-Jupiter opposition focuses attention back to details.
Saturn in Pisces enables the collective to take our dreams seriously, bringing organization and manifestation to ideas. This placement also allows us to surrender to the things that are out of our control. We will find peace in the unknown which in Aquarian time constitutes the future that is unfolding. We are redefining creative endeavors which we seek to charge with our new understanding of spirituality. We will do this by embracing empathy and finding peace through closure of the collapsing Piscean timeline.
There is also a Yod (Finger of God) empowering Vesta (Hestia) in Libra through the energies of Uranus in Taurus and Neptune in Pisces. Vesta is the goddess of the eternal flame of the hearth which represents the presence of God within our home and community. Vesta is good planning and the goddess of the executive branch of government. In Libra, this creates a sense of harmony and fairness.
Uranus in Taurus and Neptune in Pisces are sextile to each other and quincunx (150 degrees) to Vesta, forming the base of the Yod. The Yod is considered the Finger of God defined by challenges. This alignment should come to no surprise as the executive branches of all governments are now redefining themselves in the face of collapsing old-guard structures. Challenges of this Yod center upon our sense of tangible value (Uranus in Taurus) which is in a rapid and revolutionary change, balanced by our sense of enlightenment, self-discovery, and spiritual fulfillment (Neptune in Pisces) through deeper vision beyond the materialistic veil. If anything, the Yod is a karmic energy that drives one to overcome disharmony through alchemy. This challenge is given to the initiate of wisdom as it represents their life’s greatest task.
In conjunction to Vesta is Black Moon Lilith, also in Libra which is opposite Chiron in Aries. Black Moon Lilith is transfigured libido energies. In Libra, it is a craving to seek harmony through the healing powers of unity. In opposite to Chiron, this means endeavors that will heal our most primal wounds.
Mars retrograde in Leo is opposite Ceres-Pluto conjunction in Aquarius. The retrograde aspect of Mars is introspective, which means there will be no trigger to conflict (if any) before reflective contemplation. Indeed, with its trine to Neptune in Pisces, Mars is at its higher octave which is the manifestation of the Archangel Micha’el. Therefore any martial action will be protective to the Holy Mother (Ceres) guided by the principles of Divine Justice.
Ceres in the independent and innovative spiritual sign of Aquarius will foster a greater sense of equality and unity. The conjunction with Pluto will annihilate anything that opposes the Christos-Sophic energies of the new Aquarian timeline.
Final Thoughts
It is quite amazing to see how astrology is reflecting the changes to our personal viewpoint, the human collective, and Gaia herself. Perhaps most interesting is to see how spiritual perception is becoming invigorated through an expanding awareness of the timeless mythologies and scriptures that continue to validate the ascended meaning of our spiritual traditions.
Anything that was based upon truth will take on greater meaning in the Aquarian timeline while the deception, half-truths, and lies that vitiated the truth dissolve.
Perhaps it is no coincidence that our awareness of Ophiuchus, the serpent-bearer, is becoming more prominent in the Aquarian time of Advent. This is the time of the eternal flame as we wait for the epiphany, that is the birth of the god. This constitutes the essence of the Second Coming of Christ-Sophia that we have been preparing for throughout the last Age. I believe that in many people, this is already occurring. This process is the rising of the serpent within, known as kundalini, which can be viewed as the taming of the inner dragon. We are coming to peace with it as we speak.
The origin of Ophiuchus is Apollo wrestling the cosmic snake Python, who was a drakaina which means a female serpent or dragon. She was also a daughter of Gaia, her guardian that was believed to have guarded all of Earth’s secrets. Python is connected to the Earth’s core and her lair is considered the navel (omphalos) of the world. Throughout the last Age, those secrets were buried by a masculine impulse to enslave everything that was related to her, which are all things feminine.
We have lived in Ages where the feminine impulses overruled the masculine and natural forces of the world ran amuck. We have now completed an Age where the masculine impulses have been at war with the feminine and have brought us near the brink of extinction.
The Aquarian timeline is egalitarian and is all about balance and cooperation. Once this is accomplished, our passion will be harnessed for the greater good as our inner draconian energies will resonate with Gaia herself. This is why the Goddess is known as the Mother of all Dragons.
The challenge for this season of Advent is to visualize how the coming of Christ-Sophia is related the great Alchemical Dragon. This is represented in the Rod & Staph and Caduceus carried by Hermetic healers such as Asclepius. In both instances, these symbols marry the serpent to the Holy Spirit (Christos) represented by the wings of a dove.
Our goal in Aquarian time is to become healers unto ourselves. In doing so, we will heal the world. Asclepius was the son of Apollo, taught by the great healer Chiron, and in doing so he become a greater healer than his father. Asclepius became so good at healing that people stopped dying, which petrified gods such as Hades because his realm of death would run out of souls.
This is exactly what appears to be happening now on the earth plane. By unifying the power of soul to spirit, we will be ending the culture of death that has ruled the Earth for far too long. We will break the power of the archons, which we can see slipping away before our eyes.
In doing so, the secrets of Gaia’s realm will once again be revealed. For those who take up this cross, She will bestow upon us gifts through grace. It will come just as a child receives a gift from their parents in the spirit of this most reverent seasonal celebration. This gift will be variations of exactly what we need.
