They are Eating Our Children: A Reappraisal of Beyond the Soul’s Meridian

At the end of 2012, I was compelled to write about visionary experiences conveyed to me which heralded my spiritual awakening during the early part of my fifth decade.  Within the wisdom traditions, it was not uncommon for men to begin experiencing insights of a visionary nature that would have been impossible just a few years earlier to articulate or even understand.  Our culture has various names for this transformation, the most well-known being Midlife Crisis.

The Midlife Crisis is the point when formal conditioning loses its meaning.  In other words, life as we were programmed to understand no longer makes any sense.  This is a process that is all about confronting the very same boundaries that have mauled us into submission via a deceptive system of belief.  My mind never wanted this to happen, yet it did because I yearned to see truth past conditioned parameters.  Eventually, the mind must acquiesce to the soul’s wisdom if you are to move forward beyond the confinements that Authority dictates.

The first observation is when you begin to envision how everything in life has become separated, classified, cataloged, and tiered through various methods of obfuscation.  This is the point when you realize that this is not just a scheme of limiting perception, but a pervasively dense matrix that is intentional and systemic. Eventually, an enlightened person comes to understand that this distortion is the primary Constant in the earthly life that were all born into.  Like the Speed of Light, the hidden shadow Matrix is the C in all calculations, and it is just as unwavering. For the Sake of Writing

“Virtually all things truly innovative are initially criticized by the souls of men aligned with the forces of control.”

Recently, I was criticized for writing for the sake of writing. That is a very truthful statement.  As I have no constituents, sponsors, or agendas to answer to.  Therefore, my work is done for the sake of doing it.

Over twenty years ago, the artist Gillian Welch wrote a song called “Everything is Free” for her 2001 album “The Revelator.”

In it she sings:

Everything is free now
That’s what they say
Everything I ever done
Gonna give it away

Someone hit the big score
They figured it out
That we’re gonna do it anyway
Even if it doesn’t pay…

The song was written at a time early in her career when peer to peer sharing of digital music files began to undercut the conventions of the music industry.   The song was originally written as a protest to the uncertain transitions that the business was bearing.  At the time, insidious changes seemed to be random and chaotic.  Yet, there was an agenda behind it as dominion over all aspects of entertainment is now wielded within the constructs of major media corporations married to tech driven platforms where independent voices are rarely if ever heard.
