Beyond the Soul’s Meridian March 21, 2020

Our country is in a State of Emergency, which has been declared over a type of virus known to be one of the major causes of the common cold. (1) The media coverage over this event is incessant and beyond the scope that would be warranted by the health risk that this virus is capable of causing. The virus in question is a coronavirus that by this point in time, we all know as COVID19.

Coronavirus is one of the most common causes of upper respiratory tract infections in humans and various illness in animals.  It is a seasonal virus that we would expect to see in the late part of winter and early spring.  In most instances, coronavirus causes mild upper respiratory inflammation that we associate with the common cold and mild flu-like symptoms. (2)  As much as 20% of all common colds are caused by coronavirus and that percentage is much higher during this time of the year. (3)  Children and young healthy adults are relatively impervious to any serious consequences of this illness.  For as many people that have been reported as having serious COVID19 infections, very few children have been hospitalized and none have died.  It is estimated that the average person gets 2-3 colds per year.  This means that virtually all people on this planet have or will contract coronavirus at some point in their life.

At the time of this writing I can assuredly say that I have seen many cases of coronavirus this year, and scores of others over the last cold seasons.  Again, the coronavirus is seasonal, and infrequently I have admitted patients to hospital with serious respiratory disease caused by it, all of whom recovered uneventfully.

The media is stating that this year’s strain (2019-2020) of coronavirus is a more contagious and deadly illness than the common types of the past. (4)  This appears to be true.  Occasionally, there have been strains of coronavirus which caused outbreaks of severe respiratory illness.  In 2012, there was an epidemic in Saudi Arabia and Korea causing what became known as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS). In China, an outbreak causing Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) occurred in 2002-2003.  The epidemiology of COVID19 demonstrates that it is less of a health risk than either coronaviruses responsible for the MERS or SARS outbreaks.

The origins of COVID19 are traced back the city of Wuhan in the Hubei province of China.  (5) It was suspected that the virus came from the Huanan South China Seafood Wholesale Market. (6)  Coincidentally, the market is within a 1000ft of Wuhan Youfu Hospital which is connected through their microbiological labs to the Wuhan Institute of Virology Chinese Academy of Science. (7)

Keep in mind, the first cases of COVID19 started appearing as serious respiratory illness in early December 2019 within Wuhan’s hospitals.  Shortly thereafter, an outbreak of COVID19 occurred in Wuhan’s largest psychiatric hospital.  COVID19 is a chimera, meaning a unique pathological agent that has never been seen before that comes from more than one strain of virus that affect different species.

There are only a handful of coronavirus strains that cause disease in humans, while many others that affect animals (dogs, cats, bats, pangolins, etc.).  The genetic signature of COVID19 is unique because it appears as a combination of human and animal coronavirus. (4)  The animal in question is likely to be a bat and it was the Wuhan Institute of Virology that provided the expertise in solving the riddle of this mysterious illness.  This is somewhat of a major coincidence since the Wuhan’s institute of Virology happens to be one of the world’s leading experts of viral chimeras, and specifically bat-human coronavirus and bird (avian)-human influenza.

Indeed, the Wuhan’s Institute of Virology had already created a bat-human chimera in 2015 that caused disease in humans and was chastised by the scientific community for doing it. (8)  Since chimeras are not only dangerous but are in violation of scientific ethics and the laws which are supposed to govern them, this type of research was already deemed as reckless.

The phenomenon of chimeras and how the mixture of genetic material between species occurs in nature continues to baffle scientists. We do not usually see this although our mythologies are loaded with examples.  Theories as to how new animal-human hybrid viruses develop are only conjecture because it has never been proven scientifically as a normal process.

To get an idea of how viral human-to-animal transformation is theorized, watch Steven Soderbergh’s 2011 movie “Contagion” which demonstrates a bat defecating into a pigpen which is then consumed by the hapless animal. (9)  Eventually the pig is slaughtered, brought to a very unsavory and unsanitary market, and prepared for a banquet in Asia and served to a group of Western executives.  The pork is then consumed by “patient zero” (played by Gwyneth Paltrow) who brings the disease back home to her family in the United States causing by all standards a horrific influenza pandemic.

Can such a disaster occur in this fashion?  According to medical research, the answer is no— it cannot occur this way.

Humans can get viral diseases from animals, the most common being bird-flu and swine-flu.  But in order to contract these diseases, a person must live or work with a significant number of infected animals.  That means that you must be in close proximity to the diseased animals in order to get sick.  And even if you do get sick, you cannot give this disease to other humans because it has not genetically mutated into a transmissible form that would propagate between other persons.

Serious scientific research was done to answer this very question of how a viral disease naturally mutates into a human disease that is easily spread among people. The answer to this question was shocking and published on July 16, 2009 in the New England Journal of Medicine. (10)

“The history of influenza A (H1N1) virus is punctuated by frequent, sporadic cross-species transmissions from swine to humans. Although the sporadically transmitted swine viruses are sufficiently pathogenic in humans to cause clinically apparent disease, they are rarely transmitted among humans. Exposure and infection are necessary but not sufficient for a new epidemic virus to emerge; the virus must also adapt and transmit.¹² The one prominent exception to the general rule that these swine viruses are not transmitted among humans was the outbreak at Fort Dix. This virus was never transmitted beyond the military installation, probably because the intrinsic transmissibility of the virus was simply too low. Yet the global response to this outbreak was forceful, especially given that the outbreak self-quenched. The decision to mass-vaccinate the U.S. population resulted in the unfortunately large cluster of Guillain–Barré cases. Perhaps an even more serious consequence was the accidental release of human-adapted influenza A (H1N1) virus from a research study, with subsequent resurrection and global spread of this previously extinct virus, leading to what could be regarded as a “self-fulfilling prophecy” epidemic.”

According to research, these viruses do not adapt naturally but are intentionally altered to cause disease and become transmissible in humans.  As illustrated by the research done at the Virology Institute, genetic manipulation of viruses can easily be done in a lab and produced to various scale.  Yet, the globalist media assures us that COVID19 was not intentionally created or released—despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.  The Wuhan Institute of Virology already created a bat-human coronavirus by 2015 that causes disease in humans.  A swine-flu pandemic of 1977 (and probably 2009) has been proven scientifically to stem from an “accidental” release from a research facility.  The fact that at least one of these narratives involves the military makes the intentional release of this genetically designed virus even more suspicious.

Despite this damning evidence, the corporate controlled media has gone to great lengths to reassure the public that there is no link between COVID19 and the genetically engineered bat-human-whatever coronavirus that the Wuhan’s Virology Institute not only admitted creating, but published the accomplishment in a scientific journal, and put took pride in recognition of its achievement.

The logic being used to spin this narrative is feeble and mocks the intelligence of anyone who is sensible enough to connect the dots. The code word for this institutionalized spin lies within the term “debunked;” as in don’t pay attention to this outrageous scenario because our “experts” have looked into this troubling information and there is no evidence to suggest a conspiratorial agenda that threatens your health, dissolves civil liberties, or intentionally strikes fear into your heart. This is a prime example of how secular science is easily manipulated when it begins investigations with bias predicated upon assumptions and lies.

Perhaps the reason why science cannot explain how viral chimeras occur in nature is because they don’t.  Perhaps the reason why they cannot locate the focal point of where the virus originated (which would suggest that it came from an animal) is because it was intentionally released throughout various locations within the city.  Despite these probable scenarios, they will never be considered by the secular “scientific” community because they are not allowed to think outside of restricted parameters.  Their secular logic habitually determines that it must be explained within a natural animal to human transfer scenario.  For the same reasons why the attacks on September 11, 2001 have never been accurately explained we will never come to the truth.  The mystery of how COVID19 came into existence and began causing disease will always remain a perpetual mystery within the restrictions of conventional science and the corporate controlled media.  This perpetual deception will continue just as long as we do what we are told and to pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

Chimera is the signature of egotistical manipulation upon nature.  Make no mistake in understanding that the COVID19 virus is a biological agent designed to cause disease in humans.  COVID19 is an intentional infection inflicted upon the world for specific pathological and psychological effects— and its release was well planned out.

Yet, if the purpose was to create a biological weapon to inflict suffering and loss of life, there are far more effective agents to accomplish this task.  COVID19 is a contagious hybrid derived from a cold virus and not as deadly as many other natural viruses including influenza.  It is estimated that the 2018-2019 influenza strains were responsible for over 80,000 deaths in the US alone. (11) This number is far greater than the body counts coming from China or anywhere else in the world.

Furthermore, the avian flu strain (H5N1) has been weaponized long ago and if released could kill quite rapidly and efficiently most of the people living on the planet. (12)

As far as anyone has demonstrated, COVID19 may be more virulent than the common cold, but appears to pose less risk than many human influenza strains, making it an ineffective agent for lethally effective biological weapon.  On the other hand, if you needed a reason to engineer a fearful scenario that would not be an excessive risk to the majority of the world’s population, then COVID19 becomes the perfect vector.

The disproportional media coverage proves this point and has exponentially consumed our attentions since the beginning of the year.  The current administrated has been planning this at least since early January 2020.  Reuters reported that meetings regarding the COVID19 “pandemic” with the current Executive administration, the National Security Council (NSC), and the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) where classified to the exclusion of key heath care officials and first responders. (13)

“…officials said that dozens of classified discussions about such topics as the scope of infections, quarantines and travel restrictions have been held since mid-January in a high-security meeting room at the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), a key player in the fight against the coronavirus.

Staffers without security clearances, including government experts, were excluded from the interagency meetings, which included video conference calls, the sources said.

‘We had some very critical people who did not have security clearances who could not go,’ one official said. ‘These should not be classified meetings. It was unnecessary…

The meetings at HHS were held in a secure area called a “Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility,” or SCIF, according to the administration officials.

SCIFs are usually reserved for intelligence and military operations. Ordinary cell phones and computers can’t be brought into the chambers. HHS has SCIFs because theoretically it would play a major role in biowarfare or chemical attacks.

A high-level former official who helped address public health outbreaks in the George W. Bush administration said, ‘it’s not normal to classify discussions about a response to a public health crisis.”’

Paradoxically, the agency created within the NSC staffed by qualified physicians and scientists to handle the threat of disease pandemics was disbanded by the current administration in 2018. (14) One could look at this as a major blunder by an inept administration, or this can be viewed as a calculated move effectively removing any opposition to an agenda blown way out of proportion to the truthful facts of COVID19 and its relatively low virulence rate.

As it is said, the smartest person in the room may be the fool.  Although our Commander-in-Chief initially appeared to be ill-prepared and cavalier about the entire COVID19 scenario, in this case his paradoxical lack of concern was justified.  His “ineptitude” suggested that there is an alternative agenda being executed behind this intentionally generated and ungrounded fear that the media is driving.

As of Friday March 13, 2020, a state of National Emergency was declared by the White House. (1)  This has now brought into play a lite version of martial law that is guaranteed to become more intense before this agenda plays itself out.  President Trump initially predicted that COVID19 pandemic will all blow over by April but later redacted and stated that draconian measures might be instituted until June. Coronavirus naturally dies out by mid spring.  Whatever agenda is behind this pandemic, it appears to be taking much longer to execute than originally planned.

Fear is being used as control to such a degree that it is mocking us.  The amount of world-wide panic that this scheme is generating is so significant that citizens in China are abandoning their pets even though they are not reported as carriers of the disease. (15)   Many parts of Europe are in a state of lock-down. Here in the US draconian measures of closing public and private schools, colleges, business offices, sporting events, restaurants, nightclubs, churches, etc. are now being enforced.  Travel is severely restricted and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) initially prohibited gatherings of 50 or more people for a period of 8 weeks.  Under the new guideline of social distancing, this number has been now whittled down to zero.  Hospitals are restricting visitations, medical schools are shut down, and out-patient medical facilities are closing.  They are even closing beaches, forest preserves, and outdoor parks.

Out of all of this, perhaps most concerning is the cancelling of American major league baseball’s “Opening Day” which many people in my generation viewed as a symbol of hope, regeneration, and fair play. These sentiments idealize the sport which has mostly degenerated into a business.  Yet at one point, the game was cherished and promoted as an instrument for American democratic ideals.  This was the reason why it was known as America’s pastime.

So, what is the alternative agenda?  What is this international conspiracy hiding?  Based upon the scientific evidence and the nature of this strain of COVID19 illness, the current actions taken to suppress this outbreak are unwarranted.  Risk factors for COVID19 complications are the same for other common respiratory infections (impair immunity, advances age, serious underlying heart conditions, etc.).  Its virulence rate is equivalent to many other diseases that we must all encounter throughout normal earthly existence.  Coronavirus is seasonal, commonly encountered, and is proving to be a health risk similar to typical influenza.

From the March 8, 2020 NIH review article on COVID19 the World Health Organization (WHO) and similar international public health organizations recommend the following measures. (4)

“The WHO and other organizations have issued the following general recommendations:

• Avoid close contact with subjects suffering from acute respiratory infections.
• Wash your hands frequently, especially after contact with infected people or their environment.
• Avoid unprotected contact with farm or wild animals.
• People with symptoms of acute airway infection should keep their distance, cover coughs or sneezes with disposable tissues or clothes and wash their hands.
• Strengthen, in particular, in emergency medicine departments, the application of strict hygiene measures for the prevention and control of infections.
• Individuals that are immunocompromised should avoid public gatherings.

The most important strategy for the populous to undertake is to frequently wash their hands and use portable hand sanitizer and avoid contact with their face and mouth after interacting with a possibly contaminated environment.”

These measures are intuitive, appeal to common sense, and should be practiced year-round regarding all infectious respiratory diseases, that is if you choose to avoid getting them.  Based upon the virulence of the COVID19 and relatively low risk of severe outcomes in healthy children and adults, there appears to be an alternative reason (from a medical and public health perspective) to practice measures beyond these suggestions.  Involuntary protocol instituted and enforced beyond these guidelines may do little more than prolong the outbreak, but it will certainly pave the road for chaos, social unrest, and economic hardship.

Through these enforced COVID19 policies we are now seeing disruption in what little remains of our democratic process as primaries are being delayed and voter turnout is suspected to be marginal. It would be safe to say that COVID19 has completely shut down the political process.  Even during the Civil War, World Wars, and our worst epidemics, American elections have never been delayed or postponed. Our constitutional principles based upon unalienable rights and the democratic process were preserved because citizens valued the right to self-determination and protected this freedom beyond the point of their own self-preservation. Free constitutional governments only worked in societies that can distinguish truth from deception.

Something insidious has infiltrated into the governmental infrastructure and as time elapsed, we are left with the illusion of a constitutional process that most people no longer believe in.  The illusion was created through intentional subversion of a liberal democracy which is an ancient tactic of control going all the way back from the time of Atlantis to our current times of totalitarian-fascist states.

Considering the chaos from a distant perspective, we can see a polarizing and unpopular executive administration that many believed was standing on its last leg.  This beckons the question of whether the emergence of COVID19 is merely coincidental.

In the worst-case scenario we may be witnessing the final death of the Republic and the final emergence of an open fascist dictatorship.  In the past, the mystic Rudolf Steiner predicted the rise of a despotic American leader (who he called generically John William Smith or J.W.S.) that would ascend into the role of world-leader in a one-world government enforced through a unified banking system. (16)  Steiner foretold that J.W.S.’s birth would be uneventful and that he will be a wealthy and underestimated man from the American financial sector.  His transformational surge in power would mark the incarnation of “Ahriman” into the soul of this meteorically rising star.  Ahriman is the Zoroastrian name for Satan. Under the leadership of J.W.S. we would see the unfolding of a global dictatorship manifested through egotistical ideals, financial pressure, and AI technologies.  Like Christ incarnating into Jesus, Ahriman’s ministry through dictatorship will last for three years and then collapse. Steiner’s predictions have been exceedingly accurate.  Perhaps in this case he is wrong.  Only time will tell.

In the best-case scenario, we may be witnessing the administration’s smoke screen to the long-predicted swamp draining that it has often alluded to.  There has been an incomprehensible amount of crimes committed against humanity in the form of political graft, drug trafficking, child abuse, ritualistic sacrifice, human slavery, genetic manipulation, etc. on a scale that will be shocking to most people.  Many of these criminals are in positions of power, wealth, and influence.  What will be exposed is that those who have been entrusted to protect us from these very same crimes are the ones committing institutionally organized atrocities.  If these transgressions are indeed fully investigated, it will lead to a shocking and horrifying destination that (despite the evidence) most people will still refuse to accept.  This is the nature of the moment we are living in.  A time of global transformation on many levels.

Within the esoteric community it is suspected that what is happening behind the scenes amounts to military actions and mass arrests that will only be revealed to the public from a safe distance that is well past current events.  These arrests involve high-profile public figures from the globalist power base.  Undoubtedly, the events will have severe financial repercussions and would herald the beginning of the great financial reset and new world-currency system that has been predicted for over a decade. In this more hopeful scenario, it is a well thought out plan guided by an international alliance that supports humanity’s best interest. Our current chief executive would be fronting this alliance but would not be directly responsible for its actions.

Once these entrenched systems of control are nullified, then real revolutionary changes in space exploration, energy, healthcare, education, transportation, economics, science, etc. will finally be allowed to unfold. (17, 18) Admittedly, this potential outcome is wildly optimistic considering the appalling track record of those in charge who appear to be leading this literal witch hunt.

It is also possible that all these scenarios (and more) are happening. Although these theories sound farfetched, there are soft signs that support these potentials.  The recent exodus of royal family members to Canada, mass arrests with the American Military, resignations and arrests of clergy, the resignation of Bill Gates along with a record number of CEO’s who are leaving their posts, and an unprecedented 1.5 trillion dollar injection of cash (bailout) into the US banks and financial markets (along with another trillion dollars in cash on the way to compensate the public) suggest that there is far more than COVID19 that the media is interested in covering. (19, 20)

Unfortunately, it is impossible to read a political administration that is constructed upon lies, half-truths, and occult practices since its conception.  Although we are conditioned to believe that there has always been transparency within our government, its deeper power structures are based upon occult organizations that infiltrate any group that has the potential for human influence.  This hidden realm of control (Hierarchy) is based upon Machiavellian principles and occult ritual.  The illusion of democracy is the manufactured drama of what the public has been allowed to see—and it appears that this deception is now imploding right before our very eyes.

Although all of this may seem bleak, frightening, and depressing, it should.  The time that we are living in demands it.  If we could read the heavens like our ancestors, we could begin to see why these events are occurring.  As I have mentioned in my last two posts, a great global and spiritual transformation is now upon us.

In cosmic terms, March 20^th heralds a Stellium between Mars-Jupiter-Saturn in the constellation of Capricorn. (21, 22) Saturn in Capricorn is about the restructuring of ego, and specifically the hierarchy that it has created.  The fastest moving planet (Mars) determines the energy of the Stellium which is strongest while it is moving into alignment. In its lower construct, Mars represents war and violent energy.  This is probable considering that it will take an aggressive force to confront and bring down elements within the entrenched infrastructure of control.

Jupiter plays an essential role in this transition because it ascends Mars into a higher energetic state. Jupiter is a positive spiritual energy and when aligned with Mars it suggests a righteous transformational power.  In its ascended form, Mars is associated with the Archangel Micha’el, who is known as the countenance of God.  This is the archetype of the dragon slayer who uses sword and lance to exposure and defeat all that is dark, oppressive, and corrupt. We are being challenged to overcome our fears and take up the heroic task of confronting the dragons who have enslaved us for ages.

What transforms a person into a saint and or hero is that they must learned by necessity to overcome their fear, and specifically fear of death.  We all have this potential. This may sound idealistic if not foolish, but it is an essential fact that must be understood fully before anyone can ascend out of the hell that our ego has helped to create.  In esoteric terms it is stated that in order to overcome fear (and therefore perpetual enslavement) we must die a second death.

As it is said. (23)

“If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.  For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? ”

Hierarchy demands the emasculation of the populace.  We are conditioned to be afraid and then mollified through their “solutions.”  The heroes and apostles embraced people with all forms of illness (including leprosy) while we are being socially programmed by criminals to maintain 6 feet of separation in hope that this will prevent us from contracting a disease that appears to be highly contagious yet about as dangerous as common flu.  Unless there is a long-term effect of this disease (which has not been observed) then quarantining the entire world’s population is beyond reasonable.

Despite all the government’s Duck-and-Cover recommendations, ultimately, there is no effective way of containing it.  If there is a dangerous sequela from this virus we will be truly screwed.  We have made it this far without destroying ourselves and it is unlikely that the Grand Experiment would be allowed to fail in such a pathetically weak fashion.  This disease appears to be more of an adversity designed to challenge our sensibilities.

The second death is in reference to the controlling forces of ego, which must die within an individuated soul before it can overcome imprisoning fear and begin to see higher truth.  Ego is the center of fear.  If we hold fast to the forces of ego we will die as slaves within a world of draconian rule.  It is only through unification to our spirit where we can ascend beyond this enslavement.  In order to make this transformation we must lose that part of our life which controls us. In all instances it is our past (karma) and the fear of the unknown (which is karma unresolved) that holds us back. This process is just as much a second birth as it is a second death.

If you have not yet figured it out, you were not born into this life to be a perpetual slave.  Your true purpose (dharma) is guided by spirit and can only manifest once you have ascended beyond ignorance and deception.  Enslavement is related to the path in life that ego has perpetually convinced your soul to take.  Freedom is simply choosing to take a different journey within an ascending world.  In this new world we are guided by our spiritual principles, the highest of which will transform our isolated rational ego into a greater state of knowing.  Michaelic heroism is created between the union of soul to spirit.  This enhanced spiritual presence can only manifest within those who are not only guided by their higher principles, but who serve unconditionally the needs of humanity in whatever way they are ordained to do.

As human beings, I would argue that we are not living our full potential unless we become more compassionate and fearless.  Those who view this as misguided, unrealistic, or impossible are voluntarily choosing an existential existence in darkness, slavery, and fear.  They are not yet ready to ascend and are welcoming another long wave of oppression living life in a secular construct.

This crisis, whether accidentally or intentionally engineer, has manifested a rapid shift in human awareness.  As it has been observed, celestial energies are precipitating these events in quick succession. Saturn is now entering into tropical Aquarius which is forcing us to evaluate and restructure the spiritual elements of our lives. (24)  None of us can escape this fact.

Through fear of death, a spiritual awaking is being catalyzed by those who have the courage and intelligence to sense it.  Not all will or can respond to this impulse.  Yet dramatic global transformation is bound to occur if just a small percentage of people can wake up and see through the lies and chaos.

At the completion of this writing, the state of California was reported that there have been 1150 cases and 23 deaths to COVID19.  It is also estimated that 56% of the state’s population (25.5 million) will contract COVID19.  Considering the fact that our immune system has never encounter this virus before, this estimation is probable.  So, get use to the idea that no matter what we do, there is a good chance that most of us are going to get it.  Keep in mind that the numbers quoted are gross underestimations, because testing is not readily available, therefore a magnitude of mild cases are now occurring that will never be reported effectively.  These mild cases are what the state of California’s estimations are reflecting.

We are destined to survive this critical transformation if we have the courage and intelligence to allow ourselves to hold together as a community and not be misled.  The only thing that we can say for certain is that there is far more to this adventure than the media is reporting.

Be prepared and expect the unexpected.

The case studies of Li et al. published in the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) on January 29, 2020, encapsulates the first 425 cases recorded in Wuhan.[5] Data indicate that the patients’ median age was 59 years, with a range of 15 to 89 years. Thus, they reported no clinical cases in children below 15 years of age..

Clinical and epidemiological data from the Chinese CDC and regarding 72,314 case records (confirmed, suspected, diagnosed, and asymptomatic cases) were shared in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) (February 24, 2020), providing an important illustration of the epidemiologic curve of the Chinese outbreak.[12] There were 62% confirmed cases, including 1% of cases that were asymptomatic, but were laboratory-positive (viral nucleic acid test). Furthermore, the overall case-fatality rate (on confirmed cases) was 2.3%. Of note, the fatal cases were primarily elderly patients, in particular those aged ≥ 80 years (about 15%), and 70 to 79 years (8.0%). Approximately half (49.0%) of the critical patients and affected by preexisting comorbidities such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, and oncological diseases, died. While 1% of patients were aged 9 years or younger, no fatal cases occurred in this group…

Preventive strategies are focused on the isolation of patients and careful infection control, including appropriate measures to be adopted during the diagnosis and the provision of clinical care to an infected patient. For instance, droplet, contact, and airborne precautions should be adopted during specimen collection, and sputum induction should be avoided.

The WHO and other organizations have issued the following general recommendations:

• Avoid close contact with subjects suffering from acute respiratory infections.
• Wash your hands frequently, especially after contact with infected people or their environment.
• Avoid unprotected contact with farm or wild animals.
• People with symptoms of acute airway infection should keep their distance, cover coughs or sneezes with disposable tissues or clothes and wash their hands.
• Strengthen, in particular, in emergency medicine departments, the application of strict hygiene measures for the prevention and control of infections.
• Individuals that are immunocompromised should avoid public gatherings.

The most important strategy for the populous to undertake is to frequently wash their hands and use portable hand sanitizer and avoid contact with their face and mouth after interacting with a possibly contaminated environment.”
